Terms & Conditions

Important — Coustra is an information service only

Coustra provides market information, data and analysis for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not a financial service, and nothing in it is investment advice, financial advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security or other financial product. We are not a licensed financial adviser, broker, dealer, or portfolio or asset manager, and we do not manage any money or assets on your behalf. Any decision you make is your own, made at your own risk. You should obtain independent professional advice before making any financial decision.

1. About these Terms and acceptance

  1. These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“you” or the “User”) and Comaze FZCO, a free zone company incorporated with the International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Coustra”, “we”, “us” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the Coustra website, applications and subscription product (together, the “Service”).
  2. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
  3. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms, and “you” includes that organisation.
  4. The Enterprise plan is offered to teams and organisations under a separate written agreement negotiated with us. These Terms apply to Enterprise use except where that separate agreement differs, in which case the separate agreement prevails.

2. The Service

  1. Coustra is an AI-powered subscription product that analyses financial markets and news and presents information, data and analytics for your general information. Depending on your plan, the Service includes:
    • Daily market briefings — an AI-written summary of the trading day, with links back to the underlying sources;
    • Research analyses — AI-generated research on single stocks and the market as a whole, expressing a directional view (for example going long, going short, or standing aside) together with the reasoning, a bull and bear case, and a confidence score;
    • AI chat — a conversational assistant that can answer questions and perform actions inside the Service, such as building watchlists, generating analyses, and displaying data panels;
    • The Market Panel — market overviews, individual stock pages, earnings calendars, curated news, and watchlists; and
    • Smart Money data — institutional options-flow information, open-interest changes, dark-pool prints, and publicly disclosed trades by members of the U.S. Congress and corporate insiders.
  2. Analyses, briefings, verdicts, scores and chat responses are generated by artificial-intelligence systems. They are presented for information and education so that you can form your own view — they are not instructions or recommendations to trade, and we do not place trades or execute orders for you.
  3. The scope of features, data timeliness (for example real-time versus delayed data) and usage limits depend on the plan you are on, as shown at the point of purchase and summarised in Schedule 1.
  4. We may add, change, suspend or remove features of the Service. If a change materially reduces what your paid plan includes, you may cancel and we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid fees on a pro-rata basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

3. Information service only — no financial advice

  1. The Service is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not take account of your personal circumstances, objectives, financial situation or needs.
  2. Nothing in the Service is, or should be relied on as, investment advice, financial advice, legal or tax advice, or a personal recommendation. Nothing in the Service is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell, hold or subscribe for any security, derivative, cryptocurrency or other financial product, nor to adopt any investment strategy.
  3. We are not a licensed or registered financial adviser, investment adviser, broker-dealer, portfolio manager, asset manager or fund manager in any jurisdiction, and we do not hold ourselves out as one. We do not provide brokerage, custody, execution or capital-management services, and we do not hold, manage or have access to your money or investments.
  4. Using the Service does not create any advisory, fiduciary, agency or similar relationship between you and us. We owe you no duty to ensure that any information, analysis, briefing, verdict, watchlist, screen, signal or score is suitable or appropriate for you.
  5. Any research analyses, verdicts, “stocks to watch”, screens, signals, scores or briefings are general in nature, may be wrong, and may become out of date. They are not a prediction or guarantee of future performance.
  6. You are solely responsible for evaluating the information and for your own decisions. You should carry out your own research and obtain independent advice from a licensed professional who is authorised in your jurisdiction before making any financial decision. Any action you take based on the Service is taken at your own risk.

4. Risk warning

Trading and investing involve risk. The value of investments can go down as well as up, and you may lose some or all of the money you invest. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Leveraged products such as options and derivatives carry a high risk of rapid loss and are not suitable for everyone.

  1. You acknowledge and accept the risks of trading and investing, including market, liquidity, volatility, currency and leverage risk, and the risk of total loss. Market data and model outputs may contain errors, gaps or delays.
  2. You confirm that you make your own decisions about your investments, that you do not rely on us for advice, and that you will not hold us responsible for any trading or investment losses.

5. Eligibility

  1. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  2. You may not use the Service if you are located in, or are a resident or national of, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are otherwise prohibited from using it under applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction.

6. Accounts and security

  1. To use parts of the Service you must create an account and provide accurate, complete and current information, and keep it up to date.
  2. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. You may not share, sell or transfer your account.

7. Subscriptions, fees, billing and renewal

  1. Certain features require a paid subscription. The plans, prices and billing cycles are shown at the point of purchase. Prices are stated in euro (€) and are exclusive of any applicable VAT or similar tax; where we are required to collect such a tax, it will be added and shown at checkout.
  2. The self-serve Service is offered in the subscription plans summarised in Schedule 1. The plans differ in the data, analytics, data timeliness and features available. The definitive features, price and billing cycle of your plan are those shown at the point of purchase and in your account, and may change in accordance with this section. The Enterprise plan is not sold self-serve and is governed by a separate written agreement (see the section on acceptance above).
  3. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle — monthly plans renew each month, and annual plans renew each year — at the then-current price for that plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing you authorise us and our payment processors to charge your payment method automatically on each renewal. For annual plans, we will send a renewal reminder before the renewal date where required by law.
  4. Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance of AI usage (measured in credits) for AI chat, analyses and other AI features; the size of the allowance depends on your plan. On annual plans, the allowance renews each monthly period starting on the day of the month your subscription began. Your monthly allowance does not roll over — any unused allowance is lost at the end of each allowance period. Failed requests are not intended to draw down your allowance or credits; if a failed request is charged, contact support and we will restore the credits.
  5. If you are on a paid plan and reach your monthly allowance, you may buy one or more Coustra Credit Packs. A Credit Pack contains the fixed number of extra AI credits shown at the time of purchase; credits are drawn down at the per-request credit costs in force at the time of use, and only after your monthly allowance for the period has been used up. Purchased credits expire 12 months after the date of purchase, and this period cannot be extended.
  6. A Coustra Credit Pack is a one-time purchase that does not renew or recur; it is charged once at the time of purchase. Purchased credits can be used only while you have an active paid subscription: if your subscription ends, any unexpired purchased credits remain on your account and become usable again if you return to a paid plan before they expire. Credits have no cash value, are not money, deposits or stored value, and may not be refunded (except where required by law or as set out in these Terms), transferred, sold or exchanged for cash.
  7. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may retry the charge, and after notifying you and allowing a reasonable time to update your payment method, we may suspend your paid features or move your account to the Free plan until payment is made.
  8. We may change our prices and plans. We will give you reasonable advance notice of a price change that affects you, and it will take effect at your next renewal. If you do not accept the change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
  9. You are responsible for any taxes on your subscription other than taxes on our income. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors, whose terms also apply.

8. Cancellation and refunds

  1. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us, effective at the end of your current billing period (the current month for a monthly plan, or the current year for an annual plan). Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  2. Except where required by applicable law, fees already paid are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partial periods or unused features. In particular, cancelling an annual plan during the year stops the next renewal but does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining months. Except as set out in these Terms (for example where we discontinue the Service) or as required by law, Coustra Credit Packs are non-refundable, including once any of the credits have been used.
  3. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants a statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period (for example, the EU/EEA), that right applies in addition to these Terms. If you ask us to start providing the Service during the withdrawal period and then withdraw, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service and credits used up to the point of withdrawal. For digital content, the withdrawal right is lost only where you expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that the right is lost, to the extent the law allows.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for your own lawful, personal or internal business purposes, and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • resell, redistribute, publish, broadcast or otherwise make the Service or its content available to any third party, or use it to provide an advisory, signal or copy-trading service to others;
  • copy, scrape, harvest, data-mine, or use automated means to extract data from the Service, except as we expressly permit;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code, models or algorithms of the Service;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
  • use the Service to break any law or regulation, or to infringe anyone’s rights; or
  • misrepresent the Service as financial advice or as a regulated financial service when dealing with others.

10. Your content

  1. You keep all rights in the content you submit to the Service — for example chat prompts, watchlists and notes. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and process that content as needed to provide, secure and improve the operation of the Service.
  2. How we handle personal data contained in your content, including any use for product improvement, is described in our Privacy Policy.
  3. You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights needed to submit it.

11. Intellectual property

  1. The Service and all content in it — including software, models, analytics, text, data compilations, graphics, the Coustra name, logos and branding — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
  2. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for the term of your subscription, for the permitted purposes only. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
  3. If you give us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them without obligation to you.

12. Third-party data, content and links

  1. The Service relies on market data, news and other content from third-party providers. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability of that data, and it may be delayed or contain errors. Depending on your plan, some data is provided on a delayed basis.
  2. The Service may link to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for them, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

13. AI-generated content

  1. Briefings, research analyses, verdicts, scores, summaries and chat responses are produced by artificial-intelligence systems. AI-generated content can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong — including in ways that appear confident and plausible — and may occasionally produce statements that have no basis in the underlying data.
  2. Where the Service links AI-generated statements to sources, those links are provided so you can check the underlying material yourself; the presence of a source link is not a guarantee that the statement accurately reflects it.
  3. You must not rely on AI-generated content as a substitute for your own judgement or for professional advice, and you should verify any information before acting on it.

14. No warranties

  1. The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  2. Without limiting that, we do not warrant that the Service or any information, briefing, analysis, verdict, watchlist, screen, signal or score is accurate, complete, current, reliable, suitable, error-free, or will produce any particular result or profit, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure.

15. Limitation of liability

  1. We are not liable for any trading or investment losses, or for any decision you make, based on or in connection with the Service. You use the information at your own risk.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, however arising.
  3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service and these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
  4. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us, our owners, officers and employees harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your infringement of any law or third-party right.

17. Privacy and data protection

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable data-protection laws — including, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR and UAE data-protection law. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your data.

18. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give you reasonable notice (for example by email or in-app notice). Changes take effect on the date stated, and your continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms. If a material change to these Terms is detrimental to you, you may cancel before it takes effect and receive a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees for the unused remainder of your term.

19. Suspension and termination

  1. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we are required to by law. We may also discontinue the Service, giving you reasonable advance notice where practicable.
  2. If we terminate your access other than for your breach, or discontinue the Service, we will refund the pro-rata unused portion of any prepaid subscription fees and the unexpired credits from any purchased Credit Packs.
  3. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. After account closure, we delete or anonymise your account data within a reasonable period, subject to the Privacy Policy and any legal retention duties.
  4. On termination, your licence to use the Service ends, but any terms that by their nature should survive — including the sections on no financial advice, risk, intellectual property, AI-generated content, warranties, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law — continue to apply.

20. Governing law and disputes

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence.
  2. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under applicable law.

21. General

  1. These Terms (together with any plan details shown at purchase) are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. Our Privacy Policy separately describes how we handle personal data.
  2. If any provision is found invalid, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours to an affiliate or successor.
  3. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These Terms do not create any third-party rights.

22. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@coustra.com, or by post to Comaze FZCO, DSO-IFZA, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
